“All ethics so far evolved rest upon a single premise: that the individual is a member of a community of interdependent parts. The land ethic simply enlarges the boundaries of the community to include soils, waters, plants and animals, or collectively the land.”

Lake Pueblo State Park Trails Management Plan

Collected field data on social trail condition on erosion, safety concerns, bedrock exposure, and other factors. Also analyzed the condition of paved trails in other areas of the park for similar issues. Additionally, analyzed proximity of trails to sensitive natural and cultural resources through GIS analysis of existing data. Provided recommendations for trail maintenance, reroutes, and closures to the park. End report will be used by the land owner, the Bureau of Reclamation, for NEPA compliance and CPW for maintenance and management of the park.
